just got a link on my facebook to see a video of nikii minaj that was leaked and this popped up. i usually dont click on things like that but a few of my really close friends who also never click on or post stuff like this posted it so i thought it would be ok. guess i was wrong. thank avg. this is my new laptop i just paid $900 n i would be devastated if i got a virus on it.

Hey, you need to tick in your settings that your AVG will look for those threats. go to scan options->whole computer scan settings-> and tick everything you want, I have all ticked so it will scan for everything. Good luck ;) .

I just dont understand why anybody would even fall for thinking they would win any giftcard to a department store like that! Chances are if you enter to win a contest you remember what you entered to win and they contact you in another way besides through your facebook; thats why typically its through a legit email or phone number. what kind of contests are you guys talking about with free stuff? do people even fall for that anymore? its all a scam everybody knows that by now dont they?

I have got AVG I bought it saturday and still getting all kind's of cookie's, that make's twoo antivirus I got on here and I am getting ticked off I am not rich and can't by any more antivirus crapp when what I have now is not working, I had one when I got hacked two weak's ago, and so s\then I bought AVG, and still getting cookie's and junk. it cost me 100 dollars to fix what that hacker did. and I bought AVG to try to stop it and I can't do any thing with out this thing popping up cookie's, sorryy but I am mad it just poped up again. and I trusted ya'll butt I am losing that trust fast. and I will tell people to when they ask me. For the past two months I have been entering a contest with a ligit company for some really great prizes. Just yesterday I was saying how I was surprized I had not won anything yet, as I have in the past always won something. So earlier tonight when I saw the text that said my entry had won a $1,000 BestBuy gift card, I about lost it! I was so excited! I had never won a big prize before. So I went to the website and entered my winning code to claim my prize ... only to find this at the end of my rainbow:( Oh well, I guess Im glad I didnt get infected ... and boy am I glad I didnt wake up my boys with the news... this would have been very hard to explain and I definetly could not cover it up by buying them a TV ... and it did feel really good to feel really good for once!

Ok I appreciate this program it seems like every email I get offering gift cards or specials AVG steps in and detects it as a threat. I appreceiate that however I got one about a free Subway sandwich. AVG detected it as a "facebook" threat as most of the other emails I've got. I have never had a facebook account and never been interested in it. The only thing that gets me is a Subway sandwich from the Subway chain, that has nothing to do with Facebook, really a threat. Now I'm craving the damn sandwich and I cant even get a free one because it was automaticly blocked by AVG. Oh well, Im still greatful for AVG for saving me from loosing $ and viruses on my computer. But come on a free sandwich from subway. And no I'm not over wieght I actually need to gain a few pounds. Thanks AVG. Oh Yeah....Fuk Facebook!
