Adware software can display and/or download advertisements and may be considered privacy-invasive. Adware applications are however not harmful and their detection is disabled by default in AVG. look at the file location on the avg Pop up hit windows key and r (if you are using windows) or type run in the start menu and type in the location name eg: C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop and give your user full access to the of folder then go back to avg and delete it like you regularly would PS: for this process make sure you have hidden folders on

I am using the AVG Anti Virus 2013. AVG has kept me protected for years but recently I am having all sorts of problems with malware/adware. Most recently smart suggestor popping up all over the place in Google Chrome. I've followed the guidelines for moving extensions but smart suggester is not showing up in the list of extensions. Any suggestions who to remove it and clean things up. I confirm my AVG is up-to-date and it does keep finding Adware Toolbar KT as a possible threat but then removes it when prompted.
